Thanks for stopping by.
It is my prayer the words here today will encourage and inspire you onward as you continue along the path seeking JESUS – your Friend and mine.
Our scripture focus today is not from the book of Psalms but instead from —
“See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1,11 —
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven”
Brothers and Sisters – how often do you pray for the Lord’s guidance about timing BEFORE you present new ideas to others or suggest changes in their thinking?
I’ve learned the best way forward is to always seek the Lord and wait for His response BECAUSE my success depends on TIMING – God’s Timing.
I’ve learned also the importance of being sensitive to the other person – receiving their responses and not being critical as I speak when/if the Lord says move ahead and talk. Last, I OBSERVE and LISTEN to the flow of information around me – knowing that people are in different seasons of their lives.
In a book I read recently it said: Jesus understood timing. He spent 30 years preparing for His ministry before He launched His first miracle.
Jesus knew there is a time for everything.
Jesus knew there was a right time to approach people – and He knew HOW to approach people – without being critical or aggressive but sincerely and with a proper tone.
There is a time to reach out to people from your heart.
There is a time to ask forgiveness.
There is a time to wait.
There is a time to be silent.
We need our Father’s help here – will you please bow your head and pray with me —
Father, we pray You grant us the wisdom to recognize proper timing for all that you’d have us do. Give us strength and maturity to rise above being critical of others but receive and reach out from our HEARTS to all.
