If only we BELIEVE…

WELCOME – Brothers and Sisters!

Merry Christmas to you.

I am thankful for your visit – whether it is your first time or yet again – I am glad you chose to stop by TODAY.

It is and will always be my prayer that you will find a Word of encouragement and inspiration here

as you seek JESUS – your Friend and mine.

Know that at times and possibly MANY times – you may feel weary or worn out on this journey – as if you’re continually moving from and through one crisis or storm to the next.

Be ever prayerful my friend–

and have FAITH —

which I know in my heart

is the assurance in Jesus Christ of what we

HOPE for

but do not YET see.

Know that when we slow down and seek Him and His Will, He will reveal His plans to us.

The key is to wait upon Him.

“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”

Isaiah 40:31

It is not easy for us to wait.  Often, we race ahead of God.

Part of God’s restorative process is to slow us down and make us listen to Him.

He will remind us of our UTTER dependence upon Him and His strength.

He may address feelings of guilt that have motivated us to do things that He has not asked us to do.  Things that use up – fritter away- the time He gives us so we may obediently rest in His Presence, hear from Him and do His Will – quickly.

So journey on and – BELIEVE- as I do that this belief is having confidence in His ability to keep His Promises/His Word and know my friend that He will give you the strength necessary to take the next step.

Today our scripture focus is from the book of Psalm – 139: 5 —

“You have hedged me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me.”

Remember God is with you.

Immanuel – God with us (you and me).

Remember.

Let us close with a prayer —

Lord, you make my life so much better.  I love you.  Thank You for loving me.  Please touch my heart so I may hear your still small voice and be led by you to the life you have for me—I know it’s more wonderful than I can even imagine!  In Jesus Name I pray and give thanks.

Halleluiah!

PRAISE GOD!

Thank You Lord!

Bless Your Holy Name!

Amen.
