Though the World Falls Apart – Look to God!

Welcome and Blessings to you!

This is the day the Lord has made – let us be glad and rejoice in it!

Halleluiah – Praise God!

Friend, I thank God for your visit today.  I will always pray you find the words here to be encouraging and inspiring on your journey seeking Jesus – your Friend and mine.

Remember —

If you seek Him – you will find Him.

Thank You Lord Jesus!

Our scripture focus today is Psalm 46:1,2,3,5 –

“God is…always ready to help in times of trouble.  So we will not fear, even if earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea.  Though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging … God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.”

This world was not meant to last.  The earth shakes, houses collapse, and businesses fail–they are temporary.

I know you will agree that we tend to describe our SECURITY in terms of earthly things that make us feel SAFE.  Most see our core infrastructure of protection as our family, friends, home, job, church, and community.

But what happens when those things tremble — or worse, tumble?

Who can we depend on when everything is suddenly taken from us?

I pray you know in your heart that the answer is GOD!

Only GOD remains trustworthy and steadfast forever.

He is the only sure foundation for your security!

Will you please bow your head and pray with me:

“Lord, please help us to base all our confidence in your LOVE and unshakable security.  Thank you for sustaining and protecting us always and forever. “

PRAY and PRAISE God all the time!!!

Welcome Friend!

Blessings to you and all your family.

Thanks for visiting today – whether it is your first time or you are returning.  My prayer is always that the words you find here are encouraging and inspiring as you continue on your personal journey seeking JESUS – your Friend and mine.

Our scripture focus is Psalm 70:4

“May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you! May those who love your salvation say evermore, GOD IS GREAT!”

I am thankful for the gift of Prayer that God has given us.  It is wonderful to pray and praise the Lord.  There is power in prayer and I will share with you that doing so gives me strength and peace.

I was encouraged the other day as I read that we are never to weary in prayer AND that one day man will see how marvelously his prayer has been answered, then he will deeply, so deeply, regret that he prayed so little.

Friend, prayer changes all.  Prayer re-creates.  Prayer is IRRESISTIBLE.  So pray, literally without ceasing.

Pray until you almost cease to pray, because TRUST in the Lord has become so rock-like, and then pray on because it has become so much a habit that you cannot resist.

And finally – ALWAYS pray until Prayer merges into PRAISE.  That is the only note on which true prayer should end.

It is the LOVE and Laughter of your attitude towards man interpreted in the Pray and Praise of your attitude towards GOD.

Let’s bow our heads together and PRAY:

“Lord, we pray you will touch our hearts and soften our stiff necks so when we finish praying and praising you – we will always hear you clearly, be obedient and do YOUR will quickly.  In Jesus Name we pray.”
