Turn To God!

Welcome and God Bless You Friend!

A shift this week from Psalms – I’m led by the Lord to guide you to His word in the book of James – Chapter 4 – Verse 8:

“Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you.”

Joy, Peace, and Love are God’s great gifts to us.  He loves us and wants us to face each day with Love and Laughter.

Turn to the Lord.  Yield to Him completely.

Know that frequent converse with Him and much prayer, listening and being obedient enables us to dare approach Him as friend to friend.

It is a wonderful blessing He has given us.

  Praise God!

Say “ALL  IS  WELL.”

Say it not as a vain repetition.  Use it as you use a healing balm for a cut or wound, until the poison is drawn out; then until the sore is healed; then until you feel fresh life floods your being.

ALL  IS  WELL.

Yes Lord.

Amen.

When You’d Least Expect Him

Welcome Friend!

Thanks for visiting today – it is not by chance and my prayer is that you will be encouraged and inspired by the words you find here as you continue seeking JESUS.

Jesus loves you.

May God bless and keep you always.

Our Scripture this week is from the book of Psalms:  34:18 —

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and he saves those whose spirits have been crushed.”

Like most people, you may not seek God’s presence when you’re feeling low.

Beat down, undermined, or simply exhausted, you may question your worth and judge yourself completely useless to the Lord.

Thankfully, God knows that this is precisely when you need him the most, and he RUSHES in to comfort you!

Please know that God is near when you’re crushed and brokenhearted and least expect anyone to be interested in you.

And it’s when you’re most vulnerable and powerless that he can be strong for you and others can see him working through you.

So today – let God comfort you.  His mercy will heal your heart, and others will see his compassion.  Praise God!

Let’s bow our heads together and pray:

Lord God, thank you for loving and comforting me when I feel worthless and vulnerable.  I pray others may see your powerful love and seek you in return.

Amen. Amen. Amen.

Everlasting Confidence!

Welcome and Blessings to you Friend!

Our Scripture this week is:  Psalm 91:1

“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”

DANGER:  It’s a word that raises your anxiety level because of its dire implications.

Dangers threaten your life and those of your loved ones. Dangers shake your world and destroy your security.  Dangers make you question everything – especially why God would allow them.

Yet when you know God and trust him for salvation, perils can only come so near to you because God protects your eternal destination.

Though hazards may trouble you on earth, you can be confident that they won’t follow you into heaven.

So don’t fear the dangers.  Rather, thank God that the worst that can happen is limited — and it’s nothing compared to the wonderful things he’s planned for you.

Let’s bow our heads together and pray:

Lord God, I face many dangers every day, but none are stronger than you.  Thank you for protecting me and my loved ones who you’ve given me daily and for eternity.

Amen.

Your Legacy?

September 5th-September 11th, 2010

Welcome Friend!

Thank you for visiting today.  Be encouraged and inspired by the words you read and remember JESUS loves you!

Have you ever asked yourself how will you be remembered?  Have you shared with your children all that the Lord has done in your life and theirs?

It is a blessing to know the Lord and we want to honor Him by being obedient and passing on what He has done for us, His love for us and our relationship with Him.

Be a blessing to your children, family and friends. Help them reach out to the Lord and value getting to know Him. The Lord will reach out to them.

Praise God!

Our Scripture Focus this week is: Psalm 78:4,5,7

“We will tell the next generation about the Lord’s power and his great deeds and the wonderful things he has done.  He instructed our ancestors to teach his laws to their children…In this way they also will put their trust in God and not forget what he has done, but always obey his commandments.”

Let us bow our heads together and pray:

Lord God, I want to leave a lasting legacy of love for you. Please direct my steps so that you’ll always be glorified in my life and the lives of my family you’ve given me and who I stand in the gap for Lord.

Amen.
