An Issue of Time – Temporary vs Eternity

Welcome Friend!

Today’s Scripture Focus is:  Psalm 78:39

“He remembered that they were only human, like a wind that blows and does not come back.”

Have you ever faced a puzzle that seemed completely unsolvable — but then something shifted your perspective and altered your understanding of it?

Suddenly, you saw the answer clearly.

It was there all along but you couldn’t grasp it until your vantage point changed.

Often, we can’t understand God’s direction because of our perspective on time.  We deal with issues in the present and are quick to categorize things as “deal with now” or “wait until later”

Unfortunately, that’s not always the right viewpoint.

What God is doing in you isn’t about “now versus later” but “temporary versus eternal.”

So don’t fight Him — He’s teaching you to see life as you’ve never understood it before.

PRAISE GOD that He cares so much about each of us!

Thank you Jesus — Halleluiah!!!

Please would you bow your head with me and pray:

Lord, thank you so much for showing me that my human viewpoint is limited.  Help me always to see my circumstances from your viewpoint — the ETERNAL perspective.

The Choices We Make…

Praise the Lord that you are here – it is not by chance Friend.

JESUS loves you!

Look to Him and know —

When you seek Him – you will find Him.

Today’s Scripture Focus is:  Psalm 66:18

“If I had been cozy with evil, the Lord would never have listened.”

Many believe that whenever you make a choice, you declare what’s important to you and progress in a definite direction.

This is because you’ve either elected to honor God or serve something else.

What about the mundane choices? Does it matter where you eat lunch or what you wear to work?

In such cases, it’s always best to ask yourself —

Is there anything about my selection that God would object to?

Are there any godly principles that would help me pick a better alternative?

Often, it’s not the major decisions that change the course of your life, but the little ones you make DAILY.

So, honor God with ALL your choices — His way will always be your best option.

Please bow your head with me and pray:

Lord, please teach me the principles that will help me make the best choices, and help me to honor you in all my decisions — even the mundane ones.

Unbreakable Promise–Have FAITH!

A Wonderful Welcome to You — My Friend!

Remember — JESUS loves you.

Praise the Lord.

Today’s Scripture Focus is:  Psalm 33:11

“The LORD’s plans stand firm forever; His intentions can never be shaken.”

Sometimes you may know that God has spoken concerning an issue that’s very important to you, and He’s given you a promise that resonates deep within you.

You know it’s from Him because His Word confirms it and His deep peace fills you when you pray.

Yet then you’ve seen obstacles arise that appear to completely block your way from getting to the goal.  You may be tempted to doubt — but don’t.

No impediment can hinder God’s wonderful plans for you.  Just like God faithfully fulfilled His covenant to bring the Israelites into the Promised Land, He will carry out His pledge to you as well.

Count on it!  Have FAITH in God — His word to you will never be broken.

Won’t you bow your head with me and pray:

Lord, thank you that your promises to me are completely unbreakable and that the obstacles before me are nothing to you.

Halleluiah, I PRAISE Your powerful name!

Knowing HIS Secrets

Thank you for visiting today — my prayer is that you will be encouraged and/or inspired to continue seeking Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

He is with you and He loves you.

Today’s Scripture Focus is:  Psalm 25:14

“The secret counsel of the Lord is for those who fear Him, and He reveals His covenant to them.”

A strange and wonderful thing occurs as you spend time with God — circumstances begin to make sense to you  that never did before.

Your spirit becomes sensitive to the important details of life, and you can discern how certain situations will turn out.

This is not about supernatural premonitions.  Rather, your heightened perception has to do with understanding God’s will for you — seeing His activity in your life with spiritual eyes.

When your gaze is fixed on the Lord, you know where He’s taking you, what He’s teaching you, and the ways He’s transforming your life.

So, spend time with Him EVERY DAY and allow His wisdom to shed light on your path.

“Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior and my hope is in you all day long.”

(Psalm 25:4-5)

Please bow your head and pray:

God, I look forward to spending time with you and learning your ways.  I love you — I need you and want to know you with all my heart.

Are You Worthy of His House?

Welcome My Friend!

Praise God and thank you for visiting for the first time or once again!

Today’s Scripture Focus is — Psalm 15:1

“Lord, who may abide in Your tent?  Who may dwell on Your holy hill?”

Have you ever asked yourself — who is fit for heaven?  What does it take to be close to God?

Psalm 15 says that you must be blameless, virtuous, and truthful, and never speak badly of others.  You must never accept money that comes from taking advantage of others, you must keep your oaths, and you must never do any wrong.

Does this seem feasible — possible to achieve??

Did you know that your failings are meant to show you that it’s impossible for anyone to make himself or herself fit for heaven.

That’s why you MUST depend on JESUS to make you worthy of His house through His death and resurrection.  He makes you completely fit.

Believe in Him.

Please bow your head with me and pray:

Jesus, thank you for preparing me to live in heaven with you.  thank you for making the impossible possible for me.

His Name is our Help!

Welcome My Friend!

Thank you for visiting for the first time or once again.

Today’s Scripture Focus is —  Psalm 124:8

“Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”

I ask you — what sort of help do you need today?  Whatever it is – I pray you will call upon God.  He is:

The Great I am — The God who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  As He’s helped others in the past, He’ll help you.

El Shaddai — The Almighty God who defends you against every enemy or evil.

Yahweh Rapha — The God who heals all of your wounds.

Yahweh Yireh — He’s your provider who cares for all of your needs.

Yahweh Shalom — He himself is your peace.

Yahweh M’Kaddesh — He’s the one who makes you ready for salvation.

So, go ahead — and call upon your WONDERFUL God!  He loves you greatly and He’s always ready to help you, no matter what you need.

Please bow your head with me and pray:

Lord, your flawless character and wonderful name always provide for all of my needs.  Thank you Father.  Your name is above every other, and I praise you forever.

Giving Out – Giving Up?

Welcome and Thanks for visiting today!

You’re here for a reason – it is not by chance.

Scripture Focus today is:  Psalm 73:28

“It is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my TRUST in the Lord God and made Him my refuge, that I may tell of all Your works.”

Friend, have you just about given up?  Are you exhausted and almost completely given out?

Like a traveler in the desert with an empty canteen, you’re out of options.  You can’t go on in these conditions, and any hope of finding an oasis of relief has vanished like a mirage.

The only thing left and best thing to do is to throw yourself onto the mercy of God!  Halleluiah!

Once you’ve done this – He can then begin to work.

Remember, as long as you can or think you can accomplish something in your own strength, you’ll always doubt whether your deliverance was from the Lord or if you achieved it yourself.

Trust God to help you.

Pray and Believe:

Lord, I praise you for your mercy.  I don’t know how you’ll help me, but I trust and believe you will help me.  Thank you Father —  I’m so glad you’re in control.
